This September, MAEC assisted in organizing the weeklong retreat of Little Pink Houses Of Hope in Mystic.

The nonprofit organization hosted a retreat for families dealing with breast cancer. Some of the activities the families and volunteers enjoyed were dinner at Ender’s Island, accommodations at the lovely Mermaid Inn, touring Mystic Aquarium & Mystic Seaport Museum, sailing on the schooner Argia, and visiting Tree Trails.

They thoroughly enjoyed their stay and would love to come back.
