C.R.O.P. Walk

MAEC Mystic-Stonington C.R.O.P. Walk

C.R.O.P walks are community led, interfaith events that raise funds to end hunger locally and around the world. Your participation impacts individuals and families in more than 35 countries. Our 2022 walk will be on October 16, beginning at 1pm at St. Mark’s on 15 Pearl St, Mystic CT.

The Mystic/Stonington CROP walk began on Columbus Day 1977. This year twenty local churches are collaborating through Church World Service walking to help stop hunger. In many developing nations, many people must walk up to 6 miles each day to obtain food and water. The CROP Walk is the only nationwide Walk that addresses hunger both locally and globally.

CROP is one of the original “walk-a-thons”. CROP stands forCommunities Responding to Others Poverty.
